On the afternoon of November 8, 2024, Ha Long University held a signing ceremony of a Memorandum of Understanding among three parties: Ha Long University - Navigos Group Vietnam JSC - TOA Global Association Co., Ltd. and a workshop on career development orientation for students of Ha Long University.
The program had the presence of Dr. Nguyen Duc Tiep – Rector of Ha Long University, representatives from Office of International Cooperation and Science Management, representatives from Department of Japanese Language – Faculty of Foreign Languages, along with leaders of TOA Organization, Navigos Group Vietnam Joint Stock Company, TOA Global Association Co., Ltd., Rikkeisoft Joint Stock Company, and 120 students of the University.

At the opening of the program, Dr. Nguyen Duc Tiep – President of Ha Long University welcomed the delegates and students to the program, and commented on the importance of career orientation for students and the role of the University in promoting cooperation with international partners to bring about better career development opportunities for students.

Following the program, Ha Long University solemnly held the signing ceremony of the Memorandum of Understanding among the three parties: Ha Long University – Navigos Group Vietnam Joint Stock Company – TOA Global Association Vietnam Co., Ltd. The signing ceremony of the Memorandum of Understanding set a new milestone for the cooperation relationship among the three parties, opening up many opportunities for educational cooperation between Vietnam – Japan, and most importantly, career opportunities and career development prospect in the international labor market for students of Ha Long University.

Within the framework of the workshop on career development orientation for students of Ha Long University, Mr. Shibata Hiroaki – Head of Sales Enablement of Navigos Group Vietnam JSC spoke on the topic: Conveying the importance of career planning to students of Ha Long University.

With the passion for developing international education and training to improve the professional capacity of Vietnamese students to meet the requirements of recruitment and to have competitive advantages in the international labor market, Mr. Nguyen Viet Lam – Deputy General Director of Rikkeisoft Joint Stock Company shared a meaningful topic: The possibility of career plan expanded by Information Technology (IT).

To wrap up the workshop, Mr. Ueyama Shigeo – Executive Director of TOA Organization once again reaffirmed the importance of career development orientation for students, summarized the useful knowledge and orientation shared from the program, and interacted with the School’s students in a Q&A session and provided the right orientation for students to develop their career capacity in the context of modernization and globalization.
